Here, you'll find helpful info about therapy and how I can assist you. I've answered some common questions about therapy, its benefits, and what happens in sessions. If you have a question that is not answered here, please reach out using the form below and I will be happy to get in touch with you as soon as possible.

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, understanding, and personalized support. Regardless of the specific issue you're facing, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore and address your concerns. By tailoring my therapeutic techniques to your unique needs, we can work together to overcome challenges, improve well-being, and generate personal growth.

What types of mental health issues do you commonly address?
I work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, motivation challenges, organization issues, body image concerns, and disordered eating patterns. My goal is to provide support and guidance, regardless of the specific mental health concern you bring to therapy. I have specialized training in ADHD-related issues.
3
How do you approach treatment?
My therapeutic approach is highly personalized and tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. By drawing from evidence-based techniques and incorporating your preferences, we will collaborate to develop a treatment plan that addresses your specific goals and concerns. We will work toward enhancing your well-being, developing coping strategies and making positive changes in the areas that matter to you.
4
What happens in a therapy session?
During a therapy session, we will work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. You may want to talk about current issues, past experiences, and future goals. We may use a variety of techniques, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, reality therapy, or solution-focused therapy to help you develop new coping skills and strategies.
5
What type of therapy do you offer?
As a therapist, I offer a range of evidence-based therapies (see Question 4 above) but more realistically, because everyone is different, we will find a more hybrid-based approach based on who you are and what you need to restore hope and see improvement in your life as quickly as possible.
